A lovely morning at @York_High, planning to make sure year 11 get the best possible help as they work towards their exams.
Then to @CarrJuniorYork this afternoon where the culture and expectations really shine through the wonderful #CarrStars and committed staff.
Would you or someone you know be interested in taking part in these focus groups for young people?
On Armistice Day, some of our students visited the War Memorial at Acomb Green to lay a wreath to remember those who have died in conflicts. Students considered why we remember, and why memorials were built in the aftermath of the First World War.

Our first History Club for Year 6 pupils took place yesterday 🌟 Pupils from @WfieldPrimary, @WPSYork and @acombprimary started work on their own Horrible Histories sketch.
Lovely to welcome them all to YHS and we can't wait for next week!
