Here at York High School we are proud to work to tackle Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans bullying in schools.
Each year we attend York Pride, and are proud to be one of the first schools in York to have joined them, being active attendees and ambassadors since 2016 when our previous Head, Mr Sims was asked to speak from the top of the York Pride bus.
Our PRIDE club regularly hold events in school, raising money from LGBT+ charities including Mermaids.

👩🎓Year 9 Graduation🧑🎓
We're delighted to welcome our Year 9s and their families to our graduation event this evening.
Doors open at 5:30pm - ceremony one starts at 6pm, and ceremony two starts at 6:30pm.
Tickets are going home with students today.
We can't wait to see you all!

Due to high temperatures on Fri 11th July we are making a temporary change to our uniform policy
Students may wear school PE kit - and should also bring a refillable water bottle with them.
We will return to our main school uniform requirements from Mon 14th July
