Each year, some of our key staff take time to visit Year 6 students at their primary school, to tell them all about York High School – what it’s like to attend the school, what to expect on your first day, what help is available to ensure you settle in, what uniform and equipment you need, and much more!

York Music Hub and York Guildhall Orchestra are working in partnership to provide 200 free tickets for school-aged children and accompanying adults, to YGO’s 'A John Barry Celebration', at York Barbican on 6 October.

A huge thank you to York Cares, in partnership with Aviva, who have made a generous donation of cereal bars to school this week. Holly from York Cares delivered 1000 cereal and snack bars to school which should keep us going for a few weeks! 🙏 💙
