We aim to ensure your son/daughter is ready for their next step when they leave York High. Our careers programme will help them to choose a route which is right for them and will prepare them for when the time comes to move on.
This handy guide on planning your future produced by City of York Council is a great place to start!
Starting York College in September
The team at York College is looking forward to welcoming students who will be starting with them in September. To support with this transition, they have a ‘Starting in September’ page on their website which has advice and guidance on topics such as applying, enrolment, support, and a range of frequently asked questions.
Click on the National Careers Service logo for expert careers advice. Over the results period the service is especially busy but the team of career advice experts provide free, impartial help and guidance to students and will be available again this year to contact over the results period on Tel: 0800 100 900
