SEND - Activ8

Activ8 is a fantastic opportunity for young people with disabilities to engage in a range of inclusive sports, meet new people, and experience the benefits of physical activity in a fun and supportive environment. The event is designed to be fully accessible, with activities suitable for all abilities.

Here are some details about the event;

  • Sunday 13th April 2025, 11am – 2pm.
  • York Sport Centre, University of York, James Way, Heslington, York, YO10 5NA.
  • Who is Activ8 for? Disabled people of all ages, elderly adults, and individuals with long-term health conditions, along with their families, friends, and carers.  
  • Activities include: Goalball, Wheelchair Rugby, Tag Rugby, Wheelchair American Football, Boccia, Bowls, Inclusive Cycling, Dance and more!
  • Ideally, participants can sign up here, which helps us plan better, or register on the day.
  • Free entry!
